That shore was quick

The first
Doom speedrun recorded
in the QdQ way - connecting separate demos to form a multi-level run -
has been released: Ultimate Doom episode 2 is a 4:28 run along
The Shores Of Hell. QdQ speed with Doom action!

We're very pleased to hear that our
QdQr,
Qd100Q, and the
original
QdQ
runs have been voted the top three demos of last year in
Jagged's Quake
Movie Awards. I guess we should apologise for the confusion
over categories that our releases tend to cause. Whilst they appeared
as demos in
this set of awards, in the
Quake Women
Forum's awards a few weeks back,
QdQr won third best
movie of the year but was nowhere to be seen in the demos
category. So are these things demos or are they movies? We're not sure
ourselves. :)
UK mirror

Some of the European mirrors of the
cdrom.com
Quake
directories seem to be having trouble mirroring the
planetquake
files for some reason, our demos included.
Help is at hand though, with a mirror for most QdQ releases (and
other movies too) in the UK at the
Demo and Movie Archive.
