The Run From Memory

The Run From Memory is a speedrun through "Quake From Memory" - a Quake map pack where mappers tried to recreate the full original game without looking at the maps. Finishing time is 11:50.

INSTALLATION:

Unzip trfm.zip into your Quake From Memory directory, and either start the game with '-game quakefrommemory' in the launch options, or using the in-game mods menu if available.

If the mod has been installed correctly, you should be greeted by the demo-playback menu upon launching. For reverting to the quakefrommemory default mod, simply rename or remove pak2.pak in the folder.

• pak2.pak - contains all the data for the demo
• trfm.txt - info about the run itself

WATCHING THE MOVIE:

From the main screen, pressing enter will play the run from start to finish, in it's entirety.

You can also select from a single episode or solo level from each episode's sub-menu.

You can use the following keys during playback:

• F1 / slow-mo
• F2 / normal speed
• F3 / fast forward
• F5 / backwards (JoeQuake only)
• F9 / skips to the next demo
• F10 / return to menu
• F12 / quit
