It is intended for use when practising techniques to increase one's velocity by zigzagging or bunny-hopping, or wall-hugging. It is controlled with a few impulse commands. Instructions can be found in the text file.

Installation

This is a totally standard patched progs.dat. Just put it in a subdirectory in your main Quake directory and start Quake with the -game command-line option.

Version history

15th November 1997 - version 2.0 released
Added functionality to display the maximum or average velocity over some period, and to measure either forward or facing velocity. This made the mod better for the new technique that was made public today, wall-hugging.
11th October 1997 - version 1.0 released
Zigzagging was finally made public and so the mod was too.
4th July 1997 - internal version 1.0
Wrote the mod to investigate the zigzagging effect we had noticed the previous day.
