Fittingly, we release SdS, our run of the first real Ritual release, on SiNday. Hope you all enjoy it.

Armagon...

Friday, 24th July 1998 by Anthony

About ten months after we started it, Scourge done Slick is finally ready for release. We've filmed our previous runs and jazzed them up a little with various effects, but SdS is probably our first proper "movie": full voice and music, new animations and skins, and scripted sequences to give the thing a proper storyline (well, there's a limit to how creative you can be with a speed-run, but we did our best.) :)

To celebrate, we're having an IRC release party. Get yourself on channel #sds-party on a 3dnet.net IRC server (e.g. planetquake.3dnet.net, best.3dnet.net or stomped.3dnet.net.) The party starts at 6:00 GMT this Sunday (02:00 Eastern, 23:00 on Saturday Pacific) and we promise not to keep you waiting around for as long as seems to be normal with these sort of affairs. :)

We probably shouldn't have mentioned that we'd invited Levelord and Zoid to the party in the press release that has made it to the news pages without waiting to hear from their good selves whether or not they were free. Apologies for that.
