Modelling help wanted

Tuesday, 28th April 1998 by Anthony

Scourge done Slick work continues, and release is in sight now - we do promise this movie won't become RGB4. :) However, we do need one special prop - a simple, unanimated Q1 *.mdl for one of the scenes in the introduction. We have no experienced modellers in-house, so if you have the appropriate skills and would be able to assist us with this quick one-off task, please do contact us. (Vacancy filled now! Thanks!)

Speed Demos Archive

Monday, 13th April 1998 by Nolan

The Speed Demos Archive is now open. If you like Quake done Quicker or Qd100Q, but you never went to the Nightmare Speed Demos page or Muad'Dib's Quake page, then head over to the Speed Demos Archive now to see what you have been missing!

SDA lists the fastest times for Quake demos on easy and nightmare skill, with or without 100% kills and secrets. Unlike the QdQ runs, they are for individual levels. SDA has a Quake II section as well but its mostly blank right now... You can change that though, as well as the Quake demos, by showing your skills at Speed Demos Archive

A Linux version of q2timer is now available.

q2timer released

Sunday, 5th April 1998 by Nolan

q2timer is finally out! We can now start recording demos for q2dq2, instead of just tossing around ideas. The Speed Demos Archive, coming soon, will add single level Quake II runs and 100% demos as well.
