It's the hungarian spelling of the Hermes (god of the wind in Greek mythology)
That is because I have his sandal which gives me speed :))

Left hand: go forward, back and strafe. (home, end, pgdn, del)

Quake settings (resolution, version etc.)?
winquake v1.09 resolution: 640x400
Somehow I don't feel comfortable at any GL-quake

First contact to speedrunning (when, how etc.)?
I first watched the QdQr when I visited Attila
I didnt think much of Quake before that,
but after I saw Yonatan's runthrough, I was really inspired to give it a try.

First speedrunning demo?
Attila and me made quite a few coop demos when we first played
(e1m1_026, e1m7_016, e2m1_009)
My first single player demo was a :16 on e3m2
I wasn't much happier about any other demo after that I think.
That could probably make me believe
that I can be a member of the great 'SPEEDRUNNERS' :)

Favorite speedrunning demo(s) from yourself (the one(s) that you're most proud of)?
-e2m2 :34 NR. My most recent demo (2004). Includes the hard slopejump, GJs and a cool fiendpush.
-hip1m2 :22 for SdSlite. I remember this demo changed almost the whole hip1 ep. when it was in progress.
Lots of actions here.
-dm1sp 0:08 - Double ogre grenade backward curl jump !
-e1m3 1:00. This might be my sharpest demo so far. Spend about 3 months with it

Favorite speedrunning demo(s) from others?
Markus' e1m3 :24.
Perkele's god-like e2m4 in the QdQr. I remember I saw this demo million times!
The whole run was flawless, and that fiendpush at the end was incredible that time.
Ilkka's e1m4 :19; that trick really impressed me.

Favorite player (overall/runs/100%/marathon/coop)?
overall: Markus Taipale, Thomas Stubgaard, Jozsef Szalontai, Ilkka Kurkela
they all have their own superb style that noone else has.
runs: Markus , Jozsef , Kay Berntsen
100%'s: Thomas Stubgaard he is.
coops: Marlo + F.A.B -- just few can make perfect 100% with coop

Favorite trick in a demo?
Hard question, because there are many
Double fiendpush on Ilkka's e1m4
The proxmine trap in hip1m2 for a grunt at the start was fun (SdSlite)
The grenade-push in e1m3 off an ogre instead of the 2nd GJ (Markus e1m3_024)
Fiendpush over the elevator on e2m2

Favorite QdQ release?
QdQwav so far, but tRR2, and the QdQwavII will be pretty sharp too.

Favorite original Quake map?
e1m3, e2m2 - nice, and good possibilities for runners
- e1m5, e2m5 - well constructed.

Favorite custom map?

Most annoying monster/map?
The zombie next to the elevator on e1m3,
and all the knights on e2m2 (NR)

Do you like Doom/Quake2/Q3A?
I like Doom, but there are less possibilies for tricks, I wasn't very impressed by the Quake2, but the Q2dQ2 was nice.
Q3A is very nice, but unfortunately I don't really like DM

What do you think of Quake now?
It's still very suitable for speedrunning, and the best for playing coop

Quake Purity Test score? link

Anything else you want to add here?
Perkele was right when he said: "There's always a faster route"
Inventing a new trick, or find a quicker route are the most honorable thing in speedrunning in my opinion
